This man has saved 1,505 abandoned babies in Seoul over the past 10 years, as of Dec 17th, 2018. Meet Pastor Lee, founder of the “baby drop box “, a safe place for moms to abandon their babies. In the United States, single moms are celebrated, supported and seen as being a strong powerful woman. If a mom were to abandon her baby in the US she would be arrested and convicted of a crime. In Korea, abandoning babies is a phenomenon because single moms are shunned from society. It’s not against the law to leave your baby on a doorstep in Seoul!
